District Shooting Competition 2023

Success for the 11th scouts at district shooting competition.

On Sunday the 29th of January leaders Krissy and Ed took a team of six scouts to our annual district shooting competition. The teams were a mixture of experiences with some scouts having entered the previous year and others it was their first time.

The two teams were up against eight other teams so the competition was tough!

They went through three rounds with some impressive shots being fired! They all had fun and learnt about air rifle safety.

Then the results came in and one of our teams 11th A made up of Sam, Harry B, kamron and Jai. came 3rd overall and George Harrison came third overall in the standing category.

George will now be going on to shoot for the district in the county competition his brother Henry also made the first reserve team narrowly missing out of a place in top 8 !

I would just like to say well done to all the scouts that attended you were all on your best behaviour and held yourself with integrity and you did your troop proud!
